John Staggs, b. 10-23-1817 m. to Elizabeth Wheeler, b. 1826, both from Spartanburg, SC are the parents of W.J. Staggs,b. 1850 m. to Nancy Bruce, b. 1858. They are the parents of William Staggs, b. 1870 m. to Ellen A. Campbell b. 1871. They are my G Grandparents and parents of Dovie Belle Staggs, an only child, b. in Choctaw Co. MS, and m. to Henry Felix Fondren of Reform, Choctaw Co., MS.
