I wonder now if I ever answered your question about MD.Catherine Staggs who married Ervin Freeman and Mary Staggs who married Benj. F. Truax listed their father's birthplace as MD in the 1880 census.Earlier census suggests they are the daughters of Jonathan Staggs.
