Thanks Kathy,I have a few obit notices that my Grandmother had saved, too.These people are not directly related to me but some of them are children of the ones you mentioned.

JAMES D.STAGGS
(My Grandmother wrote in the margins "Myrtie Hamm's Bro."
Services were conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday for James D. Staggs, Fleming County's oldest citizen, 101, of Route 1, Flemingsburg, who died Tuesday after a long illness.
Staggs had been a frmer most of his life and even in his later years would work on the farm when health permited.
Two wives preceded him in death.His first wife, Mrs. Stella M. Jones Staggs, died in 1912.Of this marriage a son and two daughters were born.His second wife, Mrs. Sallie Hammond Staggs, died less than a decade ago.
He was the son of the late Charles Wesley and Nancy Jane Williams Staggs.
Staggs, who lived with his sister, Mrs. Myrtle Hamm, was a memeber of the Wallingford United Methodist Church for more than 75 years.
Other survivors include a son, Chester Staggs, Flemingsburg; three grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

JOHN W. STAGGS

Services were held Saturday at 1p.m. at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home for John W. Staggs, 67, of Route 1, Flemingsburg.
mr. Staggs, a retired school bus and truck driver died at 9:30a.m. on Thursday at his home.
He was born in Fleming County on Aug.5,1910, a son of Sant Staggs and the late Mrs. Hattie Harris Staggs.
Survivors include his father, his wife, Mrs. Leona Staggs; three sons, william "Buck" Staggs and Charles Staggs, both of Flemingsburg, Route 1 and Wayne Allen Staggs, of Route 2 Morehead; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Joyce Watson of Route 1, Flemingsburg, Mrs. Dorothy Catherine Cotty of Rising Sun, Ind., and Mrs. Wilma France Vickroy of Ross, Ohio; two brothers, Wilson Staggs of Dayton, Ohio and Elbert Staggs of Maysville; three sisters, Mrs. Eldiva Wilson of Flemingsbrug, Mrs. Elizabeth Wyatt of Muses Mill, Ky., and Mrs. Nancy Wilson of Washington State, 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Harley Johnson officiated and burial was in the Wallingford Cemetery.
IRVIN T. STAGGS

Services for Irvin T. Staggs, native of Fleming County, were held Aug. 5 in Dayton, Ohio.Mr. Staggs died Aug 1 at Miami Valley Hospital from a heart and lung condition.He was 76.
Born Aug. 18, 1900 near Flemingsburg, he was a son of David E. and Margaret Lyons Staggs, long-time esteemed residents of Fleming Co.
Soon after graduating from Flemingsburg High School in 1918, he moved to Ohio and was employed by the Armco Steel Co. in Middletown.Later he moved to Dayton for many years was engaged in furnace and air conditioning work for the Bush Heating Co., a postion he held for ten years.
He was a devout memeber of the Memorial United Church of Christ in Dayton.
Surviving are his wife, Leona, two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Ashbaugh of Vandalia, OH.,Mrs. Ruth Whaley of Cincinnati, OH, a son, Jim of Atlanta, GA.,a sister, Mrs. Grace Campbell of Flemingsburg, a sister in law, Mrs. Flora Staggs of Dayton seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Burial was in the Woodland Cemetery in Dayton.
ROY D. STAGGS

Services were conducted at 2p.m. Wednesday for Roy D. Staggs, 57, who died late Sunday in Fleming County Hospital.A longtime employee with the Fleming- Mason RECC, his death was attributed to leukemia.
Mr. Staggs was an RECC line foreman at the time of his disability.He was a veteran of World War II and a memeber of the American Legion.
Born December 7, 1918, in Fleming County, he was a son of the late Early and Articia Hicherson Staggs.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clarice Stevens Stggs; a daughter, Angela Staggs, at home; trhee sones, Roy and Gary Staggs, both of Lexington and Danny Staggs, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Ora Dale (Eunice) McIntosh of Elizaville; Mrs. Harlan (Ruth) Thomas of Cincinnati and Mrs. Tome (June) Moore of Hollywood, California;two brothers, Eugene Staggs of Flemingsburg and Estill Staggs of Prestonsburg; and one grandson.
Denton Funeral Home had charge of arrangements and burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Forrest Harrison officiating.
MISS IRENE STAGGS
(My Grandmother wrote (Sept 1975)
Services were conducted Monday afternoon for Miss Irene Staggs, a native of Fleming County, who died Friday at her home on Route 1, Flemingsburg.
She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Elizabeth Plummer Staggs and was an employee of the Central District Warehose Corp., Lexington.She first went to work there in 1928
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Alma Zornes, of Cincinnati and several nieces and nephews.
denton Funeral Home had charge of arrangements and burial was in the Miller Family Cemetery with Rev. Glen Forbes officiating.
MRS. PAULINE STAGGS
(My Grandmother wrote Aug 1977)
Mrs. Pauline Staggs, 82, a resident of Route 3, Flemingsburg, died Saturday, August, 13 at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington.She was the widow of Marvin Staggs.
Services were held at 3pm Tuesday at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home, Flemingsburg. The Rev. Joe O'Cull and the Rev. arthur Jackson officiated and burial was in the Wedonia Cemetery.
Mrs. Staggs was born Aug. 23, 1894 and was a daughter of the late Foster and Mattie Faris Vize.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Maysville.
