Marriage of Joshua Stamper and Jane Woodruff

This is probably a picky point, but I keep seeing all over the internet that Joshua Stamper and Jane Woodruff, of Clark Co, KY, were married about 1778 in Bourbon Co, KY. I'd like to point out that Bourbon Co, KY was created from Fayette Co, KY in 1785. So, technically, they would have been married in Fayette Co, KY NOT Bourbon Co, KY. I'm just say'n. Keep on root'n.
