Hi Pauline,
I hope you may be able to help me - I have been working on STARKEY for about 10 years now and am having a bit of trouble finding for certain who this lady belongs to -
Have you ANY information on a HASTEN STARKEY married to EDWARD DUDLEY?? They are of Onslow, NC. and she is said to be the daughter of JOHN STARKEY -This is what I have -
I have found Hasten Starkey mentioned in only 3 sources -
Lineages of Hereditary Society Members, 1600s-1900s
Pedigrees of Charlemagne's Descendants, Vol. III, Chapter XXXIX Dudley, Simpson, Williams, Anderson, McDonald, Page 134, 135 -
Mentions "Hasten Starkey" as the wife of Edward Dudley" and Fathers name has been noted as JOHN STARKEY .
(Unfortunatly I did not record the entire Chapter and no longer have access to this source - I will try to relocate this again as time permits) - I have found no other mention of the name of Edward Dudley's wife.

This is the same STARKEY'S you have been talking about right?
Does anyone know who their parents were?
Do you know if they are related to the STARKEY'S in NEW ENGLAND, Boston area I believe?
HASTEN is named as SISTER of EDWARD & JOHN and from Above JOHN STARKEY is named as her Father.

MARY is supposed to have married SAMUEL WILLIAMS JR.- some controversy there
ANN Married WILLIAM SIMPSON - my 6th Greats and I CAN FIND NO CONFIRMATION ON THAT.
