The middle initial stands for, Buchanan. And yes some of my branch of the Starkey's migrated to Missouri. In fact quite a number of them. One of the families was that of my Grandfather, William S. Starkey, and his second son, Charles B. Starkey, Sr., (my Father ) was born in New Madrid, MO...Other Starkey's relatives resided around Hickory Co., MO.......John
