Re: Where is a "Starkie" Genforum

My great-grandfather used the spelling Starkie.Althought, my grandfather and father uses the Starkey spelling.We first thought John B. Starkie was born in North Carolina but his civil war papers had South Carolina as his birth place.We can't seem to find anything on his parents or brothers and sisters Are any of your people in the United States?Evelyn
