New England Marriages, by TORREY, has George ALLEN, who d. 1648, aged 70, {overstated? If b. 1578, he would have been 27 yrs. older than Catherine}; m1. ?m2. [5 N 1624?] Catherine STARKES, b. 1605, who m2. after 2 May 1648 {burial date of Geo.}, John COLLINS, who d. 1670.

SAVAGE says that George was of Lynn, MA, in 1636, but moved the next year to Sandwich.Will of George ALLEN named wf. Cath., exx., & children Matthew, Henry, Samuel, and William, & "five least children."John COLLINS had a brother Edward, a first wf. Susanna, & by her: John, Susanna, Thomas, and Eliz.

SAVAGE also says there was a William STARKE of Lynn in 1641, but that's all he says about William.
