Kathleen,I too have been looking for the ancestry of Israel Starlin.This is what I have because I live in the Crosby Township, Hamilton County, Ohio area that he once lived.He was bon May 29, 1792 in Pa and died 1853 in Hamilton Co, Ohio.His father was C.M.Starlin and mother unknown.He married Christina Margaret Wilkins born September 4, 1792 in Pa amd died December 20, 1848, Hamilton Co.Her father was Michael Wilkins from Germany and then Pa and her mother was Margaret.I have them down with 14 children. with an Adaline in the mix.I know nothing yet about the Scotch ancestry.He had a brother that owned a store also serving as a post office in Crosby Township in the 1820's whose name was John T. C.M. also lived in Crosby Township, I believe.I know nothing more but wanted to let you know what I have so far.Melba
