Thomas Starnes and Mary Elizabeth Bruner

One of the branches of my husband's family tree is the Starnes Family.Thomas Starnes is as far back as we go, so if any of you can help us find his parnets and/or siblings, and any other of his forebearers, it would be greatly appreciated.

First Generation

1.*Thomas Starnes was born on 12 Oct 1781.He died on 22 Dec 1833 in Indiana and was burnied in Zackmire Cemetery, Wallace, Indiana.

Thomas married *Mary Elizabeth Bruner, daugher of Jacob Bruner (American Revoluntion Vet.) and Mary Cline/Klein, on 21 Nov 1807 in Greene Co. Tennessee.Mary was born on 25 Jan 1787 in Maryland.She died on 6 Sep 1871 in Indiana and was burned in Zackmire Cemetery, Wallace, Indiana.

Second Generation

1. Jacob Starnes was born abt 1808 in Greene Co., Tennessee.He died 22 Sep 1838 in Indiana and was buried in Zackmire Cemetery, Wallace, Indiana.He married Nancy Clark.

2.Margaret Starnes was born about 1809 in Greene Co., Tennessee and died unknow in Kansas.She was buried in Starnes Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.

3.Catherine Starnes was born 18 May 1811 in Greene Co., Tennessee and died 22 Feb 1850 in Indiana and was buried in Zackmire Cemetery, Wallace, Indiana.She marrided Baxter Hamilton.

4.Charles Starnes was born 13 Jan 1813 in Greene Co., Tennessee.He died 14 Jul 1865 in Kansas and is buried in the Starnes Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.He married Christina Myers.

5.John Starnes was born about 1815 in Greene Co., Tennessee and died 8 Mar 1879 in Indiana.He was buried in Zackmire Cmetery, Wallace, Indiana.He married Mary Day.

6.*Elizabeth Starnes was born on 18 Sep 1816 in Greene Co., Tennessee.She died on 4 Mar 1861 in Elmo, Nodaway, Missouri and was buried in Union Cemetery, Elmo, Nodaway, Missouri.

Elizabeth married *Jacob Livengood, son of Hartman Livengood and Sybilla Magdalene Myers, on 1 Feb 1836 in Fountion Co., Indiana.Jacob was born 14 Sep 1809 in Rowen Co., North Carolina.He died 9 Jul 1863 in Elmo, Nodaway, Missouri and was buried in July 18863 in Union Cemetery, Elmo, Nodaway, Missouri.

7.Barbara Starnes was born about 1818 in Green Co., Tennessee and died unknown in Kansas and is buried in the Starnes Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.Barbara married Elias Livengood.

8.Henry Starnes was born 2 May 1820 in Greene Co., Tennessee and died 3 Apr 1893 in Indiana and was buried in Zackmire Cemetery, Wallace, Indiana.

9.Thomas Starnes was born about 1825 in Greene Co., Tennessee.He died unknown in Corvallis, Oregon.

10.Geroge Washington Starnes was born 24 Aug 1827 in Green Co., Tennessee and died 4 Apr 1917 in Indiana and was buried in Zackmire Cemetery, Wallace, Indiana.George married Abigail Livengood.

11.Mary Ann Starnes was born 4 Apr 1829 in Montgomery Co., Indiana and died 7 Oct 1832 in Indiana and was burned in Zackmire Cemetery, Wallace, Indiana.
