Our story is that he knew Mr. Beasley had stolen some cattle and was going to turn him in to the authorities."Granny Green" (Martha Elizabeth) was pregnant with Joe who was born in September, 1890. Story also goes that Mr. Beasley went to prison but wasn't away very long.When he returned, Granny was afraid "the boys" (the older sons) would take revenge but Mr. Beasley only stayed long enough to gather up his family and they moved off to parts unknown.Are you related to my group?Would love to hear from you.
