Re: Christian Stauffer died 1735
Christian Stauffer (c1680-1735) was porbably the son of Ulrich Stauffer (b. 1652).Ulrich was expelled from Eggiwil, Bern, Switzerland in late 1671 with his father Christian Stauffer and mother Margret Anthoni when he was 19 years old.They were all living at Dirmstein, Germany in April 1672.In the 1698 census Ulrich was listed as a Mennonite living at Dirmstein.He may have been the Ulrich Stauffer who was living at Mannheim, Germany in 1717 (also there was Christian Stauffer, possibly his son).No Stauffers are found at Dirmstein after 1698.Here is the family of Ulrich's parents;
