Arthur E. Stebbins, 64, of Chatsworth died early Monday (Nov. 9) morning at his home. An inquiry was conducted by Livingston County Cornorer Von Qualen. He said death was due to a heart attack.
Funeral services were held at the Hanson Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Allen Marshall officiating. Burial was in Chatsworth Cemetery.
Mr. Stebbins was born at Milford, Oct. 16, 1900, a son of Alex A. and Lillie Hoover Stebbins. At the age of 12 he moved to Chatsworth and was educated in the Chatsworth schools. Later he worked as a laborer.
Surviving are 10 children; his mother, Chatsworth; two brothers, Clifford and Lewis, both of Chatsworth; and a sister, Mrs. Viola Unverferth, Georgetown.
Mrs. Elma Trinkle was organist and Mrs. Archie Perkins and Mrs. Robert Fields were soloists. Pallbearers were William Livingston, William Zorn, William Fortna, John Neuswanger, Lee Forney and Delmer Ford.
