I have a Benjamin Steck born about 1805 in Westmoreland Pennsylvania.I am not positive on his wife's name but it might be Susan Kreider.More research needs to be done on her maiden name.Benjamin is the son of John Michael Steck who was born 5 Oct 1755 in Greensburg, Westmoreland, Pennsyvania. His wife is Esther Haeffner born 26 Mar 1767 in Westmoreland, Pennsylvania. They were married in 1785 in Washington, Franklin, Pennsylvania. John Michael was a Reverend in the Lutheran church and founded the church in several areas in Westmoreland County.There is about 3 pages written about him in the book called "History of Westmoreland County Pennsylvania" (974.881 H2a).There may be more in the book about his family but these are the only pages that were copied and in the family papers that I have.
