Henry Earnest & Mary Stevens of Greene TN?

Seeking confirmation of spouse of Henry Earnest born 1772 in Lincoln County, NC, died 1851 in Greene County, TN, son of Heinrich Ernst b Switzerland, died Greene County, TN and Mary Stephens, b Switzerland, died Greene County, TN.

I have Henry Earnest's wife as Mary Stevens b 1775. I find it hard to believe that his wife was Mary Stevens and his mother was Mary Stephens, so I am pretty certain there is an error here. Does anyone have any sourced info on this couple?
