conform to charter dated at Clarie / Clerie 20 May 1564
and witnessed by

Archibald McKie of Str[onor]d (Stranraer),
and Roger Gordoun dean of Dunblane,-
infeft John Stewart and Egidia Gordoun his spouse
and Robert Stewart their 2nd son in fee,
in 5 merkland of Carnestik and Polchullie in barony and parish of Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland.

John Makclennochane in Carnestik.
On 17 July 1567 there is another sasine at hand of Nicolas Murray N.P.
wherein the same baillie on same charter
infeft John Stewart of Barchly / Barclay his wife and son
(second son Robert Stewart) as above,
in the same lands (5 merkland of Carnestik and Polchullie in barony and parish of Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland)

Richard Stewart son to Walter Stewart of Barclay
and Attorney for Alexander Stewart of Garleis
compeared with a Crown precept directed to
Walter Stewart of Barclay
who infeft Alexander Stewart of Garlies
in liferent and Alexander Stewart his son and heir apparent in fee in the lands of the barony of Garleis reserving to Margaret Dunbar spouse of the said Alex. Stewart of Garlies, her terce.
