Tanks you for your interest in this post
I am trying to find people that might have done some research about Tomaso Stich Bonelli (1848 Rome-1908 Guatemala), or his immediate family, from Rome.
He was my g-grandfather. His father was Pedro Stich (no dates) and his mother was Annunziatta Bonelli (no dates)
Tomaso had for sure 2 sisters named Barbara and Marianna and 2 brothers named Adolfo and Etore (Hector) Stich Bonelli.Tomaso was the only member of his family to venture to America
Tomaso married Maria Elvira Mestrallet (1855 Rome-1904 Guatemala) and her parents were Gaetano Mestrallet (no dates) and Albertina Viglia (no dates)
They had 4 daughters with surnamesBonelli Mestrallet . (1) Maria Teresa Angelica (1879 Rome-1965 Guatemala) she married Vilfredo Cabella from Alexandriawhose parents were Venancio Cabella and Luigia Frova from Alexandria;
(2) Lavignia who married someone with surname Amado. They had no family;
(3) Albertina who married Marcos Mustorgi. They had 3 daughters named Josefina, Elvira and Marcella, and 3 sons named Giorgio, Marco Antonio and Umberto. The latter was Consul General of Salvador, San Salvador in Genoa. Albertina’s family although lived in Guatemala and San Salvador returned to Italy and finally;
(4) Annunziatta (1886 Rome-1972 Guatemala) who was my grandmother
My g-grandfather studied (1868) at the Sapienza in Rome. Romanae Studiorim Universitatis Archicancellarius. The university is now under the control of the Italian Government and is called the Royal University.
By the time they lived in Rome c1868 they used to live at Vìa delle Murate, 53, Rione, Roma, one and a half block from the Fontana di Trevi.
I would appreciate any help.
Best regards,
Fernando
