It's hard to tell if this William/Bill Stiles was related, I've not done research in the area because the name was just an alias of the outlaw as far as I can tell.There are numerous versions of what happened to "Stiles"' body after the Raid, all of them in conflict.

You're right about Jesse James' carcass.What are people trying to prove?There was a tv program or two about this a couple of years ago or whatever when the mtDNA testing was done.There are various people who claim to be descended from him, but not from the known wife, rather from someone who claimed to be Jesse James to gain some notoriety.
