Lavina (nee Stiner) Millard 1879-1961
OBITUARY: Press Enterprise, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Monday, May 8, 1961
Mrs. Lavina S. Millard, eighty-two, 90 Iron Street, Bloomsburg, died Sunday morning at her home of complications due to advanced age. She had been ill about three years and bedfast for four weeks.
She was born and she died in the same house. she had resided in this vicinity all her life. She was the daughter of the late John and Martha Stiner. Her husband, Clarence Millard, died in 1907.
Surviving are two sons, James A., at home; John C., Bloomsburg; one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Fornwald, East Bloomsburg; thirty-three grandchildren and fifty-four great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Susie Erwine, Plymouth; Mrs. Kathryn Hall, Connecticut; Mrs. Elizabeth Mittledorf, Elizabeth, N.J.
Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at two from the Baker Funeral Home, Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Henry George officiating. Burial will be at New Rosemont cemetery.
