You're right!I have been getting tons of help from Don Robert "Bob" Allison on making my Allison connection.My James Sheldon ALLISON is aka James Shelton ALLISON. Bob has the genealogy on his site: Allisonclan.net Check it out! Aseneth STONE is there!

I am still wondering how the Shelton became Sheldon.LDS records show both.

P.S.I sent Bob a paper from an old Allison family Bible.It lists James S. Allison and Rachel E. Allison (CLARK) and their children. I will also post it on GenForum under ALLISON.

If you have anything in addition to the info at Allisonclan.net, I'd love to have it.More importantly I know Bob would be able to get it to more people.His address is at the site.
