Jean Stover Obit
HUDSON — Jean Stover, age 66, of Hudson passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, at Foote Memorial Hospital in Jackson.
She was born June 4, 1941, in Hillsdale, the daughter of Donovan and Ruth (Strine) Bumpus. She lived all of her life in Hillsdale County and was a graduate of Hillsdale High School in 1959. She married Robert G. Stover on Sept. 30, 1978, and he preceded in death July 24, 2002.
Jean was retired Executive Secretary of the Addison Products Company in Addison where she was employed for more than 32 years. She was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church at Hudson and enjoyed crafts, reading and her grandchildren.
Surviving are her four daughters, LeRae Mohr of Clearwater, Fla,. Amy Mohr of Portage, Robin Mohr and her close friend James St John, of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Bethany (Jeff) Marshall of Hudson; her son, Lyle Mohr of Kalamazoo; her grandchildren, Corey, Joshua, Alex, Anna and Serenity, and two sisters, Donna (Willis) Howard of Osseo and Darlene (Carl) Blankenship of Phelps, Ky. Also by her special friends, Jean Shafer of Virginia and Susie Wilson of Hudson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and by a daughter, Renee Jean Mohr.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson with Pastor John King officiating. Interment will be made in the Lickley Corners Cemetery. The visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson.
