Deceased Name: SHARON L. EVANS
Sharon L. Evans, 53, Independence, died March 10, 1992, at Menorah Medical Center. She was born in Cowgill, Mo., and lived in this area most of her life. Mrs. Evans was a real estate agent for RE MAX in Blue Springs and was a member of the RE MAXMillion Dollar Club. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Springs and the Christian Women's Business and Professional Association. She received a bachelor's degree from Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg. Survivors include her husband, Othello Evans of the home; a son, Daryl C. Evans, Lee's Summit; a daughter, Rebecca L. Evans, Mesa, Ariz.; and her mother, Hilda Stover, Independence. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church; burial in the Cowgill Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Newcomer's Blue Springs Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the church or the American Cancer Society. Edition: METROPOLITAN

Hilda Louis (Goe) Stover, born in Cowgill, MO, May 6, 1917, went to Heaven October 1, 2004. Hilda attended KC Teacher's College, Jr. College, and University of Missouri. She was employed by Kline's, Nelly Don, Unitog, and Mobil Bulk Plant. She was a member of First Baptist Church Blue Springs. She was Associational Training Union Director for KC for five years. Her life was centered around the Lord's work, teaching Sunday School, visitation, and prayer. Sharon Evans, her daughter, and Hazel Clark, her sister, have preceded her into Heaven. She has her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Roy Thomas, her brother-in-law John Clark, her son-in-law Othello Evans, grandchildren Rebbeca Hogue, Daryl and Tammy Evans, her great grandchildren who were so very special to her, Nathan Hogue, Daniel and Emily Evans, as survivors. Now, she "Belongs to Jesus." Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Monday, October 4 at Webb-Freer Funeral Home, 205 SW 17th St., Blue Springs, MO.
