Margaret Stringfellow/Edmund Howard, Lancashire

Hi,
My gr gr gr gr grandmother was Margaret Stringfellow, born about 1797, Liverpool, Lancaster, England.
At some point, she ended up in Tasmania, Australia (formerly, Van Diemen's Land), whether this was as a convict, or free settler, is unknown to me, presently.
Margaret married Edmund Howard from Rochdale, Lancaster, England, on September 10, 1827, at St. David's, Hobart, Tasmania. Edmund was born about 1787, and the circumstances regarding his move to Tasmania, are also unknown to me at this point.
If anyone knows anything about these people, and their ancestors, I would love to hear from you.
