Clarence Struble obit submitted
Clarence Struble, the son of Edward and Josephine Virnig Struble, was born on November 21, 1913 in Cando, North Dakota. As a young boy he moved with his family to Harlan, Montana and later to Jackson, MN then to Dundee, MN. Clarence attended school in Jackson and Dundee. He was united in marriage to Ethel Peddycoart on July 3, 1933 in Windom, MN. After their marriage they lived in Dundee where he worked as a barber. He also worked as a barber in Brewster for many years. They moved to Fulda, MN after his retirement. In July of 2006 they moved to Maplewood Court in Fulda. Clarence passed away at his home on November 20, 2006 at the age of 92. He was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church and was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dundee. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel of Fulda; one son, Lyle Struble and his wife, Fran of Overland Park, KS; one daughter, Carol McMurray of Raymore, MO; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters and one son-in-law, James McMurray.
Funeral services will be held at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 with Fr. Bob Horihan officiating. The organist is May Ann Boom. The song leader is Lloyd Winter. Interment is at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery Dundee, MN.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 PM Wednesday at the church. The Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda is assisting the family with arrangements.
