Homony Suck, MD to NJ; 1762
I am not researching this family, just entering information I hope will be helpful to someone.From the book "This Was the Life" by Millard Millburn Rice, is the following:
"August Court, 1762 - Henry Snuke, late of Frederick County, farmer, otherwise called Homony Suck of Lebown (Lebanon?) in the County of Hunterdon and Provance of West jersey (New Jersey), yeoman, was summoned to answer unto Joseph Bennett in a plea that he render unto him the sum of 5 pounds of West New jersey money of the value of 5 pounds of Maryland currency."
