LaSalle, IL Sullivan, Connelly & D/Penny

By Susan Dobson September 04, 2001 at 07:47:00

Looking for info on Sullivans in LaSalle, Illinois, 1800's.
Phillip Sullivan (1800-1882)came to U.S. with brother Timothy (8 out of 10 siblings from Ireland all came at about the same time).Don't know how they made their way to Illinois.

Phillip m. Jane Connelly, had a son, Phillip.

Phillip married Mary McGuire Denny (Penny?), and we think they are buried in St. Vinvent's Cemetery in LaSalle. Children were Jane Sullivan Skelly, George & Phillip Sullivan, and Dorothy "Dora" Sullivan (12/1860-4/1923) - my maternal ggmother, who married Adam Sheblio, an immigrant from Poland Russia. The family owned a livery stable in LaSalle.

Can anyone help?Thanks!
