Thank you for your info.Sorry I did not see it sooner.I think you solved my connection question. There were 6 Grantors on the listing in the deed book.I knew Alfred and Morris were brothers; but Leslie and Virginia Supplee were the mystery.Relationship mystery is now solved, thanks to your response.Virginia's maiden name was Singley. That's the connection.
Alfred George married Emma Singley on Nov 11, 1873 at the North Wales Reformed Church, now St. Lukes UCC. Emma Singley was born Feb 25, 1850; died April 12, 1891 and is buried in the Lansdale Cemetary.
Emma's family was recorded in an old family Bible: Father:Andrew Singley Mother:Sarah Vanneman;their children were: Clara, b 2/8/1848 'near the Willow Grove, Montgomery Cnty' Emma, b 2/25/1850 'near the Willow Grove, Montgomery Cnty' Virginia b 1/31, 1852 'near Montgomery Square' David E, b 1 1/2 E of Montgomery Square Montgomery, b 1 1/2 E of Montgomery Square, 11/13, 1854 Andrew Jr, b Near Montgomery Square, Oct 1, 1858.
I saw the Singley family on the 1850 census in Horsham township. The family is not on an 1848 map of Montgomery Cnty showing families in the county (Montgomery Cnty Historical Society).Did find Andrew and his father (also Andrew) on an Abington Township tax record (1848?)
Emma's and Virginia's mother was Sarah Vanneman Singley. Sarah Vanneman's parents were David Vanneman (Salem Cnty, NJ - died 12/25, 1827 age 47 yrs, 8mos, 5days) and Sara Armstrong Vanneman (b 9/15/1780, d 8/20/1863, married June 15, 1809 Upper Alloways Creek, NJ)
Sarah Armstrong's parents were William Armstrong (b 3/10/1740 probably in NJ, died 8/25/1806) and Sara Linmeyer (also spelled Lindemeyer - b 6/19/1745, d 6/16/1806, married 5/27/1773).I'm stuck at Wm Armstrong. However, Sarah Linmeyer's roots can be found in the book "The 1693 Census of the Swedes on the Delaware".Her roots go back to Sven Gunnarsson who arrived at Kingsessing in 1640 and also Jonas Nilsson, who arrived at New Sweden in 1643.I bought the book.
The comments about "Ann" relate to a sister of Morris and Alfred.Have no idea what happened to her.Still don't, but that's for another search.
Thanks again.Any questions on what I wrote, let me know.
