Southerland, GA

I am trying to find my Grandmother Fannie Mae Southerland, born in 1912 I know that she was born in 1912 supposedly in Georgia.I know that her mother was also Fannie Southerland, born in 1897 most likely in georgia.

I have had no luck finding her.My sister remembers as a young child being told that our grandmother had been kidnapped by her indian fathers family and lived somewhere on a reservation some time around 1920.I have no idea if any of that is true or not.

My grand mother had a daughter out of wedlock I presume named Myrtle around 1930 in Georgia.All census records list her as my grandfathers daughter but she was not his child.Any information would be helpful, She married my grandfather in the 1930's but even that record alludes me.His name was Elbert M. Stevenson from Mt Dora Florida and he is a descendent of Samuel H Stevenson.
