Swearingen Family in Montgomery Co., KY

Thomas Swearingen married Judith Moseley in Montgomery County KY in 1830.He died in 1850.Does anyone know who his father was?I have had the name Andrew appear frequently, but there seems to be a gazillion Andrews with all kinds of birth dates.The best info I have is an obit for Thomas Moseley Swearingen, son of Thomas above.It says that his grandfather Andrew was in the Revolutionary War.However, the dates don't seem to match up so I'm wondering if memories were faulty and Andrew was in the War of 1812.Can anyone help straighten me out?Thanks!
