Elijah, Bertha, Emma Swope ! Where are you?

Hitting three brick walls at once here.

Elijah SWOPE married Edna Browning HOLDREN. I have Edna'a background, can't find Elijah.

Bertha SWOPE *1884?)married Charles HOLDREN.

Emma SWOPE (1855-1864?) married Edward HOLDREN.

Now you would think this would be easy to crack since the matching surnames, but no go from this end. I can find the HOLDRENs, but not the SWOPEs. And to bugger me aching head I have a Sarah Swope married to a SELDOMRIDGE which I found Sarah pretty darn easy. I am dying to find out if Elijah, Bertha and Emma are related to Sarah but , for the life of me can't climb these three brick walls!

Checked Family Search, checked Genforums, checked Rootsweb. I wanna kick something!

Can anyone help out there?
