Mary Elizabeth Tagg married Elijah McMahon, Sr. in 1858 and they moved to Miami Co., Kansas in 1870, where they raised their family.The McMahon children were: Sarah ANNA (McMahon) Koonts, Daniel WARREN, Florence V., John Wilbur, Catherine (McMahon) Lowther, Albert Isaac, Mary ELEANOR (McMahon) Dunbar, Lora (died at age 5,) Isaac Jr.("Lide") and William HARVEY, who was born March 2 (6 days before his mother's death on March 8, 1884) and died on Aug. 4, 1884.
