You seem to be the great expert on the Taggs of Taggs Island! I have not had any response to my message of 7 May about my Tagg ancestor's connections with Taggs Island and the east end of London. Do you have any information that might resolve my particular puzzle. As far as I can see, my Taggs in the east end do not show up in the 1901 census even though we believe that they we still alive at the time! This, on top of not appearing in the 1881 census, is most odd. Any help or ideas that you have would be very much appreciated.
