Agnes Tait, Scotland

I'm trying to locate information on my greatgrandmother, Agnes Tait or Tate, from Scotland, possibly Glasgow. Agnes married a Hoy and somehow wound up in Sandgate,
VT, where my grandfather Robert Stanley Hoy was born @ 9/6/1891 (died in Paris, France).Her husband may also have had children from another marriage, John and Hamilton Hoy.Any help is appreciated.
