Will Investigate Tansley's Death
Walter Tansley, was killed at Dunkirk, N.Y., was a resident of Falconer, but had been employed, by the S.M. Hamilton company for two years. The caouse of his death still remains a mystery, but Coroner Blood will conduct a thorough investigation.Tansley lifeless body was found lying beside the tracks after a Buffalo trolley car passed. As the team he was driving ran away and was caught two miles from the scene, the supposition is that the horses became frightened at a big car and threw the driver to the ground. No report was made by the conductor and there are no indications of injury.Tansley was born in Levant and was a noted baseball player. The body is still at the morgue.
I am not related to Walter, I just had the information and thought I would post it in the hopes that it will help someone out.
