Hello Nancy. I do not have much on Elizabeth, But I will list her direct Tappen line for you.
1)Otto Von Tappe (born 1566Tappenburg, Westphalia, Prussia)
2)Anthony Teunis Von Tappe(born 1598 Tappenburg, Westphalia, Prussia) Anthony fought in the 30 year war and moved to Holland with his family in 1636. Believed to have changed name to Van Tappen to "Dutchify" it.
3)Jurian Teunisse Tappen(born 1630 in Tappenburg,West Phalia,Prussia.Jurian arrived in the "New World" in 1652.
His first rent payment was due on Easter 1652.He was known as Jurian DeGlazmaker for his expertise in glass making.He also signed his name at times as Jurian Teunissen Van Tappen.Later in life he got into realestate and owned an Inn.Jurian was married two times,first to the daughter of Wybrecht Jacobse.She was born app.1640 and died March 15,1661.They had no children.Second he married Arientje Davidts(born 1645 in Beverwyck,NY.Died 1695 Kingston, Ulster Co;NY.
4)Cpt.Teunis Tappen(born 1670 in Albany,NY and died 3-1726/27)Cpt. Teunis was a captain of Militia of Ulster Co;NY during the French and Indian war. He married(10-10-1695 Old Dutchess Church,Kingston,Ulster Co;NY)Sarah Shepmoes(born 1673 in Kingston,Ulster Co;NY)The wedding of these two people was said to be a seven day feast.They were both well liked and came from prominate families.
5)Johannes Tappen(born 8-29-1703 in Kingston,Ulster Co;NY.Johannes was,like his father,was in the Ulster Co. militia.He married Tjaatje DuBois on 11-22-1726 in Ulster Co;NY.
6)Cpt.Teunis Tappen(born 11-3-1728 in Kingston,Ulster Co;NY Died 5-2-1809 in Poughkeepsie,Dutchess Co;NY. He was a captain in the American Revolution.He was a member and Secretary of New York convention 1775-1776. He was a good friend and brother-in-law of Gov.Lt.Col.George Clinton, The first Governor of New York and Vice President of the United States 1804-1812.He married 2-9-1749 Tarreytown,West Chester,NY.to Hester Conklin(born 1-6-1730 in Tarreytown,West Chester,NY.Died 1-19-1812 in Tarreytown,West Chester Co;NY)They are both buried on the Reformed Dutch Church grounds,Poughkeepsie,Dutchess Co;NY. I have a copy of his bible record also.(Not original)
7)John N.Style Tappen(born 10-18-1753 in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess Co;NY.Died 3-4-1846 in Fallsburg,Sullivan Co;NY. He married Rachal Van Bunscoten(born 1-15-1766) on 7-23-1786 in Poughkeepsie,Dutchess Co;NY.
8)Teunis Tappen(born 12-11-1787 in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess Co;NY. married Elizabeth Rynders(born 1-27-1791 in Dutchess Co;NY)approx.1809 in Dundee,Yates Co;NY?
9)Elizabeth Tappen(born 4-8-1820 in Sullivan Co;NY.Died 3-11-1867.Elizabeth married Charles Fox in 1840.
