Hello.
I believe the first listed, Edward H. Tarman, is my line.A younger son of Aquila Tarman, Edward was born abt 1827 and died at Carver Hospital, Washington DC, 10/29/1865.Family legend has always said he died in Libby Prison as a captive, but having seen his pension papers, now beleive he may have been interned, released at the end of the Civil War, and died of dysentery at the Washington DC Hospital.I have quite a bit of info re: his parents and grandparents, sibblings, etc, but almost nothing about Edward himself.Don't know if he was married, had offspring.Does anyone else know?
Thanks,
Eileen
