Re: another piece of the early Tarver puzzle
Let me summarize what I feel may be a difference in perspective about the Andrew Tarvers.
It is my belief that Andrew Tarver who died in Hancock county, Ga. in 1827 was the son of John Tarver, not the son of Andrew Hipkin Tarver II.
Andrew Hipkin Tarver II in my view was the son of Andrew Hipkin Tarver I.
Andrew Hipkin II was the father of Andrew Hipkin III, but in my view was not the father of Andrew Tarver who died in Hancock county, Ga in 1827.In some records he was noted as Andrew W. Tarver.
Hartwell, R.R., Wm M. Benjamin, possibly Robert and Andrew were all sons of Andrew Tarver (Brunswick county, Va. Andrew.)
I appreciate your information and I believe if we continue the exchanges and ponder the information we can solve this dilemma.
The preponderance of available information should serve as the resolution and if my conjecture is incorrect, I certainly will accept it.
Thanks for your information.
David A. Tarver
