Thanks so much for making the Tarver relationships clearer for me.
Since I was wondering whether or not Andrew Tarver's first wife, Ann Young, was a Young widow, I found that the following, from VIRGINIA MARRIAGE RECORDS:FROM THE VIRGINIA MAGAZINE OF HISTORY AND BIOGRAPHY, provided my answer:
Tarver, Andrew & Ann Young, 10 Oct., 1785.
Ann Young, mother, consents, Absalom Harris, Sec.
(I know that Absalom Harris was the husband of Elizabeth Tarver, daughter of the Andrew Tarver who died, leaving a Will, in Northampton Co., NC about 1779/80.)
Also, on p. 238:
Tarver, Andrew & Elizabeth Heartwell,
28 Jan., 1791, in Brunswick Co.
I also found, in MARRIAGE RECORDS OF BRUNSWICK COUNTY, VIRGINIA:
26 Dec. 1796, Hartwell Armistead to Martha Gholson, Andrew Tarver, sec.(In another online book, I found the information that Armistead Hartwell was the brother-in-law of Andrew Tarver.)
I'm sure that you already had all of the above information in your notes, but thought that it would be helpful to post it here, as abstracted from marriage records.
