I have a Lucy Tatman who would have been born roughly 1750 in PA.She had a brother John and a brother Joseph, one of which became a judge in Cincinnatti.
Lucy married John Dean and moved to KY.
This following information was given to Donna Dean Gidden by Ann Elizabeth Bailey Whipple, and later to Bill Davis:
"There was some belief that Lucy Tatman was one of three Tatman children that escaped an Indian attack on their fort, known as Hobb's Hole and located in Pennsylvania on the Virginia border. John, Joseph, and a sister hid behind an opening gate, then ran away to another station, and were the only survivors from the fort."
