Terry,James E. Taylor is the son of George Taylor and
Rachel Worsham who were married in 1783 and had the
following children: John, George, Anthony, Elizabeth,
Henry, James E., Rachel and Simion.
George Taylor is the son of Anthony Taylor and
Susannah Lacey who had the following children:
Frances, George, Joseph, Susanna, Josiah, William
and Littleberry.
Anthony Taylor is the son of Bernard T. Taylor and
Sarah Mosley who had the following children:
Anthony, James, Joseph and Josiah.
Bernard Taylor is first found in New Kent Co., VA,
in 1738 and by 1744 they were in Henrico Co., VA, which
became Chesterfield Co. VA.The family eventually moved
to Henry Co., VA , and on to various parts of TN including
Giles Co., and Maury Co., which is where your James E.
Taylor settled.
