I've since received some records from Scotland.Catherine Telfer Watson was the daughter of Grace Weir and John Telfer.John was the son of Archibald Douglas Telfer and Mary Gibson.Archibald was the son of John Telfer and Catherine Braidfoot. I have John as the son of another John and Kathleen, but this information is a little bit more sketchy.
