Yes, I am a descendent of Archibald Douglas Telfer. He was my 3rd great grandfather. It is possible that we may be related through the Watson side.All were born in Douglas, Lanark.This is the lineage:Catherine Telfer married Adam Watson (1833-1905) son of James (1784-1868)m. Margaret Brown; son of James (1757-)m. Barbara Haddow; son of James(1726-)m. Marion Greenshields; son of John (1702-)m. Jean Inglis. There is another set of Watsons related through a spouse of one of the Telfers- Mary Watson (1717-1785) m. Nathaniel Pender; daughter of Thomas Watson (1684-)m. Jean Somervell.Both Mary and Thomas were born in Carnwath, Lanark.
