Your email address is hidden.In any case, it will take me a while to find all of my mother's Telfer materials.The niece is an Agnes Telfer, daughter of Alexander Telfer (b. 1830) and Ann Sanderson. On reflection, I do not believe she lived in Pettinain, although her grandparents lived there and she made visits there. I believe she lived in Edinburgh. But the letters (not all of which are from her) contain many references to Pettinain.
