Hello again,

My mother's family tree says that Alexander was married to Ann Sanderson.However, I don't believe this is true. I have been doing some searches on the FamilySearch site and see that that marriage took place in 1845.This cannot be our Alexander. He could not have married at 15. I'll have to take a closer look at the letters.(This will take a while -- there are a lot of them.)Scottish records were not so readily available when my mother did her research many decades ago.
