Re: Tenney/Taney tie

Regarding the Tenney/Taney name - my husband's name was Tenney in the 1880's MI and changed to Tanney when they moved to Canada.This name is spelled Tenny on some of the tomestones in Walled Lake MI. Lots of variations.(By the way there there Taney's near Gettysburg and I have a clipping about them somewhere.Will have a look.Also, Brooke Taney was first magistrate in Maryland or something like that can't remember exactly. There is a status of him there I have a picture of.My inlaws were staying at a hotel there and took the picture of him for me but they didn't write down the information. Good Luck with your search.
