Re: Justinian Tennison and John Noe Relationship
Clerks make errors in recording information.Ralph D. Smith, _The Tennison Family of Southern Maryland_, (Daytona Beach, FL: R. D. Smith, 1997), Page 45 offered the comment, "This record is in error in giving John Noe's age as ca. 21; it should say 'upwards of 21' (or possibly 'ca. 21 years ago,' with no age for Noe).In 1720 when this deposition was made, there was a John Noe Sr. and a John Noe Jr. in Charles Co., and both of them were well above 21."
It could also be that the clerk just wrote the wrong number.
