We should note which is well documented already that the George Teater of Washington Co Virg and Garrard Kentuckyscloeset inl aws families and friends were from here Rowan Co.
Being Squire Boone Abigail Van Cleave William Van Cleave
Squire Boone is taxed alongside George Teater as well as Abihail Vancleave widow of william van cleave from 1787 to 1792 up to 1810 Madison and Garrard KY in addtion we have the notes of Squire Boones son in law logan who said the closet men to him where Samuel Teater, Teaters father Inlaw Joseph Raya Charles Teater Amrose Rosswillam Teaters father in law ,Logan all the rest go back to Rowan Co NC
Note that George Teater Jr 2rd son of George Teater married William Vancleaves daughter Mary Vancleave from Rowan Co where the Teaters lived.
Note the names of Jacob Teaters family are William George and Samuel same names of George Teater of Garrard Kentucky which repeat themselves for 5 generations..
note there was a young revolution Patriot here Rowan Co same name George Teater. I showCapt Teeter serverd here 1766.
Samuel Teater started his family with children when he was nearly 40 yr soldit could be estimated he had a 1st wife here in Rowan Co before he moved 1768 to the north.

George Teater went father south to Georgia and went north to NC -Virg 1768 . he may have been working on some trading operation there with the Parris family or others..

Samuel Teater married the next year to Mary Doddridge he was 36 yrs. This suggests by the conditions of times he was the Capt teeter listed back in Rowan co 1766. Married to woman there became a widower and left a son young George Teaterbehind there.. Daniel Boone wrote in the seige of Boonesborough Capt Teter was his friend.
The only way that could of happened was from a relationship back in Rowan co NC
