John Hiram Thomas of Coosa Co. AL and others

I would appreciate any help.

My Grandfather was Rufus Sanders Thomas
son of John Hiram Thomas and Sarah Ann Darsey b: June 11,1862

They resided in Coosa County, AL

I know some of my grandfather's Bro's and Sisters were
L.O. Thomas, Gladys Thomas, and Milton Nimrod Thomas.

Does anyone know John Hiram Thomas' father?
He was supposed to have served in the Confederacy.
Any information regarding my ancestors would be helpful.
