Re: Randolph County Illinois Thomas'

I have a John Thomas b. 20 Dec 1798 Litchfield, CT who married 23 Aug 1823 in Kaskaskia, IL to Margaret STAHM.

Their daughter, Elizbeth Naomi Thomas married Loren Anderson Brooks in Jo Daviess Co., IL in 1851 and they are my 3rd great grandparents.

Could this John Thomas be the one you found in the early IL Census?
