Daniel Boone Thomas is my gg-grandfather. He married Sarah Guinn in 1858. 1. Their oldest son Fleetwood Thomas born Sept. 22,1859 is my great grandfather. He married Maggie Morrison in Butler in 1882. Their Children 1. Elizabeth 2. Maggie 3.Leonas Rice 4. Rachel Isabel 5. Frank.

4.Phoebe Taylor died and buried in Butler
5.Daniel Webster born Feb.3, 1872 in Butler and buried in Buffington Cemetary.
I am the oldest grandchild of Leonas Rice Thomas, the oldest son of Fleetwood Thomas. L.Rice (he always went by Rice) had 4 childern. 1. Ernest Paul 2. Bell 3. Irene 4. Charles.I am the oldest living son of Paul.My oldest brother Paul Henry was still born. I was born in Butler, July 28, 1938.I am now retired and run a cattle ranch, the T BAR T, with my oldest son. His oldest son looks like me, but his youngest looks just like Fleetwood. All of my children and grandchildren( including the girls, have the unmistakeable Thomas cowlick on the right front and in the back. The front cowlick is the first place the men lose hair. Its true I went through it and now watch my son experience the loss of his. If you have sons you may remember that. I have been in contact with several cousins and that seems to be the most common and easily reconizable phyno-typic expression, and genetic aboration, shared down through the generations.
A cousin of yours with whom you both share the same great-grandfather, Daniel webster, lives in Port Arthur,Tx, She has much info on the Thomas history. Her name is Linda. You may know her. If not I'll ask if I may give her email address to you.
My direct email is pawpaw15 @ microcore.net. My home phone is 417-276-7015. I live 12+ miles from Stockton, Missouri. If you wish to call, please do so after 9:00 pm. I hope I sweetened your melting pot of Thomas history. Any time,
